Grandma's Mother's Day Quilt Finished

I'm happy to say that at 11pm last night I completed the quilting on the Lap Quilt that one of my friends  commissioned me to make for her Grandmother for Mother's Day.  This was a fast turn around.... 12 days to be exact.  She wanted it to be extra warm, so it has two layers of batting and the back is fleece.  I think the hardest part might have been working on this in the almost 90 degree weather we had last week.  I don't know if you'll be able to see the leaf stitching I did in gold around the edges (look at 2nd photo).  My friend wanted a splash of color on the back so I selected a tropical sea-foam color to tie in with the block centers on the front.
